Located in a rural area at west of Rome, few meters away from the private residence of the customer, the building, which is used as private office with a welness area, has a large windows looking at an olive grove. It is a single volume on one floor suspended from the ground and enveloped by a coating of corten steel, whereas on three sides there are the glass windows. The interiors are intentionally flexible and adaptable to various needs and in a direct relationship with the outside due to the presence of sliding doors and walls. A covered patio separates the office from the private area where a mini spa with pool & hammam is located. During the design criteria of bio-architecture were followed to reduce the environmental impact of the building: the best exposure to the sun and the winds, the use of environmentally friendly materials, the choice of radiant floor for heating and cooling, rainwater collection and production of electricity using photovoltaic panels located on the roof.
